JOHN DOE is Suing CalTech. Asks Court to Seal Records.

The attorney representing CalTech student John Doe has asked the court that Doe’s Complaint ‘remain sealed throughout pretrial proceedings and up to trial.’ In the filing Michael Azat (Doe’s attorney) states, ‘grounds for this application are that the Complaint describes sensitive matters of sexual conduct between plaintiff and Jane Doe, and the Notice of Interested Parties identified plaintiff by his true name, which if made public would subject plaintiff and Jane Doe to harassment, injury, ridicule or personal embarrassment.’ Read the application to seal the complaint & proceed under a pseudonym here.
