HELLO MY NAME is Victor Zheng. This is My True Story & Video of a False Accusation of Rape
My name is Victor Zheng and I graduated from the University of Virginia in 2016 with a double major in History and Chinese. I have been involved in the discussion on campus sexual assault and campus adjudication since 2014 when I published my first article detailing my experience of being falsely accused of rape and abduction with intent to defile. I was arrested on October 3rd, 2013, and would endure a whole whirlwind of turmoil caused by a vengeful complainant compounded with poor police work. Recently, I released a video project that details the false accusation experience. The video includes footage of my interrogation with the Fairfax County police, a telephone sting operation in which my ex-girlfriend tries to coerce me into a confession, and an interview with one of my ex-girlfriend’s supposed “witness”.
This is the link to the first part of my project:I spent a lot of time producing and thinking about how to execute this project. This is a really important issue to me and I think that I have an important story to share that can help us think about how to pursue these kinds of allegations while being fair to victims on all sides of the equation.
