FALSE Accuser Lauren Pearson Charged for Filing False Report of Campus Sex Assault

Hartsville police have arrested and charged Lauren Emily Pearson for filing a false police report after she accused a Coker College soccer player of raping her during a weekend party on the college campus. “These false allegations should cause society to pause when they hear on the news or read on the internet that a person has been charged with a crime. Folks are quick to convict based simply on allegations, which oftentimes, just as here, are later proven to be false. In this case, our swift actions allowed that to happen rather quickly,” said Cannarella, lawyer for the male who wrong accused by Lauren Pearson.
