…. stories of three men accused of sexual assault and the way they were branded as rapists despite evidence to the contrary in a culture that says we should believe all accusations regardless of merit. The documentary also discusses how we got to the point where college administrators are adjudicating felony sexual assault. MacCallum said the federal government and colleges are treating due process rights as “a pesky nuisance,” and suggested we make absolutely sure we understand the problem we’re trying to solve.

This is a very sad and complicated story. There are no winners. It’s reflective of so many problems on campus today. A “PC culture” that bends over backwards to create safe zones for accusers and make life hell for the accused even before the case is heard…The government has put colleges in an ugly political and economic bind, one that schools are ill equipped to manage…If you have a daughter – or a son – you need to pay attention. This could happen to anyone.

The man, denies any wrongdoing and instead claims the woman who filed the lawsuit is trying to slander him and harm him by making false claims…The man also says in court paperwork that the woman first told police she did not remember what happened at the party in April, but later said she was raped.
